ain’t no grave……

St. Paul described the hope of resurrection for the Christians in the Greek city of Corinth this way, words that still tug at and inspire the human heart almost 2000 years later: “Where, oh death, is your victory; where, oh grave, is your sting?” (1st Corinthians 15.57).

This is how the iconic Johnny Cash put that to music late in his life, his own death looming before him: “There ain’t no grave can hold my body down, there ain’t no grave can hold my body down. When I hear that trumpet sound, I gonna rise right out of the ground, ‘cause there ain’t no grave can hold my body down.”
